How to read a tire?
Move the mouse over a number or registration for more information.
Tubeless tire
Formerly, tires came with an inner tube. Today, however, inner tubes are no longer used since the join between the tire and the wheel rim is completely watertight.
DOT code
The DOT Code begins with the letters 'DOT' followed by a plant code (two numbers or letters) that identify where it was manufactured. The last four numbers represent the week and year the tire was built. For example, 3108 means the tire was manufactured during the 31st week of 2008.
Reinforced
This reference is generally visible on van tires.
